Software Developer

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development or system engineering experience

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

• 5+ years of software development experience in Programming in one or more object-oriented languages like Java/Python Experience with micro-services and REST interface 

 

Systems Engineer

• 5+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

• Develops integrated solution to meet defined requirements.

• Supports the planning of systems and system development efforts to meet mission requirements.

• Evaluates proposed system solutions including hardware, software, operational requirements and the characteristics of an overall system.

• Establishes and documents system design and decision for systems 

• Revises existing systems to address and correct system deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling and storage.

• Provides the documentation, testing and maintenance of system various updates, modifications and configurations.

• Performs as a liaison with other business functions.

 

Test Engineer

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software testing or Quality Assurance experience

• Develop test strategy/test plan; document test cases and test scripts

• Work with developers to understand different environments and set up test data

• Build and/or build upon an automated test framework specific to the needs of the application(s)

• Develop automated test cases, developing end-to-end test scenarios

• Provide test reports to document successful runs as well as failures, and working with development, technical and functional teams to identify root cause (e.g., defect, technical issue, change in functionality, etc.) for failed test cases

• Make recommendations to developers to address common test failure issues and improve software delivery

• Actively participate in team/scrum/daily standup meetings and collaborate with the customer and team members

• Maintain test plan documentation

 

MINIMUM or PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MINIMUM: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• PREFERRED:  MS in Computer Science or equivalent

• MINIMUM: 5+ years of software development or systems engineering

• MINIMUM: Experience developing high quality - large scale – production applications

• MINIMUM: Experience developing native and web applications

• MINIMUM: Mastery of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C, Python, Ruby, or C#).
